ABOUT

Coffee cupping is the professional practice of evaluating coffee quality by tastes and aromas of the brewed coffee. In our connoisseur’s cup tasting session, you will sample some of the world’s most exclusive and luxurious coffees with exotic origins, highly treasured by coffee connoisseurs. The complex aromas and flavours of coffee offer a rich and rewarding moment to the drinker.

 

This class is held to provide students with coffee tasting experiences, suitable for beginners and experienced coffee tasters who want to expand their coffee horizon and enhance tasting palette with new origin and coffee varieties.

CW002. Advanced Cup Tasting Skills

 

ABOUT

Coffee cupping is the professional practice of evaluating coffee quality by tastes and aromas of the brewed coffee. Evaluation starts by deeply sniffing the coffee, then loudly slurping the coffee so it spreads to the back of the tongue. Different aspects and characters in the cup are measured and recorded accordingly. A standard coffee cupping procedure and protocols are involved.

 

This Coffee Cup Tasting class is held to provide participants professional coffee knowledge and coffee tasting experiences, suitable for experienced coffee tasters who want to expand their coffee horizon and enhance tasting palette with new origin and coffee varieties.

ABOUT

By hands-on brewing and tasting beans from different varieties, origins and brewed under different extraction level, students will learn to handcraft a coffee that match their taste.

 

The Hand Crafting Coffee Series is divided into three classes, participants may choose to enroll in one or all of the classes according to personal preferences and level of understanding of brewing principles. This series of classes will repeated regularly. So, if you are not able to enroll in one of the class, you may join in the next cycle.

CW004. Hand Crafting Coffee Series – Session Two

 

ABOUT

How to craft a perfect brew? In this class, we will go through in-depth analysis and understanding of key brewing parameters that affect the taste of  coffee. Students will master the skills of using hand drip tool and brew a cup of coffee with optimum extraction and flavor according to SCAE Gold Cup standard. We will compare 3 different hand drip filters: V60, Kono and Kalita Wave. What are their differences and how to use them to highlight different coffee and taste you want to create?

If you want to start roasting your own coffee beans at home — or are at all interested in how beans are roasted — join this upcoming roasting class.  Students will learn how to use a hand roaster and operate a micro coffee-roaster. CW007. 3D+2D Latte Art Workshop

 

ABOUT

Enjoy a latte art workshop and learn how to make latte art from Experienced Barista and Trainer in the coffee industry. Fresh espresso base and just-frothed milk are 2 important ingredients in order to create a decent latte art design. We will only use Fresh espresso (not spooning pre-ground coffee powder) and Milk during your Hands-on latte-art practice.

 

With a Small class size, our trainer will guide you through the secrets of latte art and the presentation of coffee, providing you with hands-on experience in creating basic latte art pattern. You will be impressed by the passion and experience of the knowledgeable trainer.
